The Southern United States is not known for it's snowstorms. But this weekend, Mr. Jonas gave us some snow. We only got between 2-3 inches at our house, but our family in the mountains got a lot more. Sure, it's nothing like the 26 inches that Pennsylvania has right now, but we really enjoyed our snowpacolypse (as my husband excitedly called it all weekend).

I know I am blessed. I feel awful knowing that while Taylor and I were having a fun-filled snowpacolypse, there were people out in the snow (even within a 5 mile radius of us) who have no home. While we were giddy over the beauty, they were shivering under a tree.
It's not wrong that we had fun. But we need to be very aware of how blessed we are. And often, I'm not. I complain about barely having money for bills, but we always have enough. I complain about the little things that bug me, but I have such a full life. If I'm honest, I complain a lot. That needs to change.
I know it's Monday, you guys. We need more coffee, less talk-y, and some extra sleep. But Monday is here whether we like it or not. Why not spend the day realizing how blessed we are. Try to go the entire day without complaining about anything. Because most of us are very privileged. Privileged or blessed doesn't mean we have a ton of money to throw around. It means we have what we need, we have people who we love, and people who are there for us. And for those of us who are Christians, in knowing Christ we have the biggest blessing that could ever be available. So, remind me again: why are we complaining?
Do you struggle to remember how blessed you are? Join me in today's challenge. Try not to complain out loud or in your head. Spread positivity.
