Mug-spiration Monday *Vol. 12*
Monday, September 7, 2015
Hello all! I hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend, and I hope that you have today off too!
I spent this past weekend enjoying my home and my hubby. Aside from cleaning, everything was fun. We drank coffee, watched Blue Bloods, I crocheted. We watched football, tried a new church, and saw some friends from Waynesville. It was truly a blessed weekend!
I was also able to spend my Sunday afternoon watching a webinar by Melyssa Griffin of The Nectar Collective. Melyssa is a young blog and business owner who seriously knows what she is doing. She gives the best tips for how to make a blog better- so that you wonderful people are still enjoying it :)
I want this place, The Peculiar Treasure, to be a place where you come and feel encouraged and inspired. I want you to know that when you come here, you are loved- loved by the One who breathed life into your lungs. I want you to leave here feeling more compelled to love and live for Jesus than you did when you arrived. And I also want you to know that you have a friend. I may never see your face when you are reading, but I am here to be a friend. I hope you feel that every time you come to this blog.
Today, instead of posting my normal Mug-spiration Monday links, I'd just like to share a few links of encouraging blog posts by some of my favorite bloggers.
Summer (Coffee with Summer) talks about her anxiety and handling it properly.
Elizabeth (Oak and Oats) shares a piece of her marriage and some advice.
Renee ( My Morning Coffee) encourages us that we have assurance of salvation.
These three bloggers are wonderful! Always encouraging, always a joy to read, and believe me, there is much to glean from them. Happy reading and happy Monday!

I love hearing about your heart for your blog! I feel the same way about mine. Having a blog is such a unique ministry and gives us an amazing chance to speak truth into people's lives as we share our stories, even if we never meet the majority of our readers. Love this!
