Wing and Fish Company

Anytime I visit Shallotte, my brother, Jason, and I like to go eat together at least once. This trip, me Taylor and Jason all agreed that we needed to go to The Wing and Fish Company on Main St. Shallotte.
I have been to this restaurant three times and I have to say, I've been very impressed every time I've gone.
They have a lot of seafood, but I always get wings. They are very similar to Buffalo Wild Wings, except their sauces are homemade and fresher. They also have salads, soups, sandwiches, etc.
This time, I started off with a cup of their seafood chowder. It was fantastic! It was a thick, creamy base with whole baby shrimp, clam strips and chunks of potatoes and carrots. The flavor was perfect!
I also got boneless wings (Asian Honey Garlic flavor) and sweet potato fries. They were very good, but I think I would have liked it better as traditional wings. My favorite was what Jason got: Sweet Asian Chili traditional wings. They had a little kick to them, but it wasn't overpowering or anything.
I also ordered a mixed drink. It had orange juice, pinnapple juice, cranberry juice (I think), grenadine, and raspberry vodka. It was very good, but the glass was HUGE. I could not finish it without feeling irresponsible, so I left 1/3 of it untouched.
If you ever stay near Shallotte, NC, you should really swing into Wing and Fish Company and give them a try. They are so good, and I love support local businesses!
