So this morning, I decided a green smoothie was the way to go. I looked through my freezer and found frozen banana and frozen mango, so I decided to go the tropical route.
Despite the spinach I added, the smoothie didn't look green at all, but I promise its there :p
The Recipe
* 2 Cups 1% Milk
*.5 Cups frozen mango
*.5 frozen banana
*1 Cup spinach
*.5 scoop Spirutein protein powder
(any vanilla protein powder will do)
This protein shake has natural sweetness, but is very mild. If you like things extra sweet, add a tablespoon of honey.
This smoothie has 430 calories for a 24 oz. glass (which is super filling).
