I woke up this morning feeling like I had been hit by a train... and it felt good!
Last night, Taylor and I went to a local park and met up with a few of our friends. They had invited us to play ultimate frisbee.
For those of you who have never played, ultimate is very fun, but there is A LOT of running involved. I had only played one other time in my life and I was in way better shape, so I'm sure you can imagine how last night went! Ha!
We had such a great time. We played until the sun was setting behind the mountains and the Hubby and I headed home right before dark.
This morning when I woke up, I was so sore! I am very out of shape and last night was rough on the body. BUT, as most any former athlete will tell you, when you start feeling sore again, it feels great, believe it or not! This is because you feel, in an athletic sense, like your body has done something worth while. I love it!
Call me crazy, but I was always the girl who showed off her bruises and felt naked when they went away; the girl who liked her goose-eggs on her knee's from diving on the court, and the girl who loved sliding in the softball clay just so she could get a little dirty... I know. I'm so weird. But I love it!
Now its off to work! Have a great Sunday!
